WIWW #17
Jacket: Thrifted; Scarf: a street vendor; Top: Marshalls; Jeans: Walmart; Boots: Birthday gift
I'm starting to pull out the scarves.
Most of the time it's not really cold enough to wear scarves in California,
but I just pretend I'm in Boston, because I like them.
Have you seen the scarf video yet?
If you have ever wondered how to tie a scarf in a different way,
wonder no more!
Top: Marshalls; Tank: Nordstrom Rack; Jeans: Thrifted Tommy Hilfiger; Wedges: Clarks
Just when I think I can wear more scarves, it gets hot and I'm pulling out sandals again.
Sorry... I know I need to quit complaining!
I don't have to shovel snow... I am very grateful for that!!

Dress: Ross; Tights: Target; Same boots: Bandolino
This one is for Susan. She read my last post and told me to post this outfit for WIWW.
So I found a pic I had with my parents.
Aren't they cute?
Aren't they cute?
They have been married for 57 years.
They live 8 houses up the street from me.
A lot of people think that is crazy.
I think it is awesome!

I loved the scarf tutorial, I'd seen it before! What great ideas! Happy Wednesday
oh loooove me some scarves! And the video has some great ideas.
Love your dress in the last photo. Beautiful.
OHMYGOSH...you are darling in every outfit! I love the fall outfit with the scarf. {and I do love scarves...just get tired of them by the end of the day usually around my neck} I love that marshalls blouse and your dress with tights and boots have me envious.
I also do agree that your parents are cute and I love that you live close to them. My parents are the same way...been married for over 40 years, still in love and we live pretty close to them.
And one last thing...I just wanted you to know how much I love all your comments. I might not respond to each one, but I do appreciate them. Thank you! ♥
Linda, the top in your second pic is so cute! And the dress looks great on you with those tights and boots!
Your first outfit so New England-ish, love it on you! I do like scarfs but I just don't have a lot of them, just a couple. I have so fabric to make some more, I just haven't gotten around to it yet.
yeah, for scarf videos! i NEED the help.
that dress from ross does not look good on you {snicker snicker}, i think it would be est if you handed it over to me!
You can come visit any time and shovel snow this winter. And wear scarves every day! :)
Great outfits! And I loved the scarf tutorial, too. I am definitely a scarf person, though, you're right, sometimes it's not quite cold enough to wear one.
I followed you here from WIWW to see the scarf! :)

i think it's AWESOME that they live 8 houses away. I wish mine did. (and they only live 25 minutes away...) haha
I love scarves - but then again I live in Minnesota, so it makes sense that I wear them a lot!! I think it's great that you live so close to your parents. We almost bought the lot behind my parents a couple years ago, but it didn't work out. They're still only a couple miles away, and we love being so close.:)
I love your blouse in the second outfit and your dress in the 3rd! And I am DEFINITELY a scarf peson :)

Hi Linda! Thanks for stopping by my blog. As you can see, I live in Hawaii and, though I often desperately pine for scarves and cozy sweaters, the only way I can get away with that here is at the always-freezing movie theater! I love your boots and your scarf, and the way you tied it on looks really great!
cute outfits i love the scarf! thanks for stopping by!
I love scarves! Cute outfits...I'm visiting from WIWW.

I just bought a scarf that I was fiddling around with and now I have some direction in terms of how to tie it! Thanks for this! And BTW, you look super cute!
You and your parents are adorable! Love your scarf and I love that video. I pull it up almost everytime I wear a scarf now!
Oh I love scarves as well.. I wear them pretty much all winter long :)Can I tell you just how cute you look in all your pictures?? And now after looking at your tights (from Target) I'm inspired to wear mine.. I've been a little scared to wear them because of the color :)
You are always so classy. I have been a huge fail on WIWW lately. I need to start getting dressed! I love the look of scarves, but don't usually wear them. Maybe I need to hit up my local Marshall's or TJ Max and attempt this look.
Lookin' cute, as always!
Love you girl!
And I love that dress!!!!
My oldest daughter is a big time scarf person...I will totally show her this little video. So great.
PS - I love that they live up the street. And that they've been married for 57 years - mine are at 54. Such an inspiration.
i am FINALLY making it over here!!!
i like scarves. i am totally loving the video. i NEED it. i never know how to tie my scarves.
I love scarves and I love that video! It's a great way to spice up an outfit an there's so many ways to wear them! Super cute outfits!!
firstly, you are cute.
also, i love that you love living close to your parents. i would live that near to mine, too:)
love ya!
How wonderful that you still have your parents so close and that they have an enduring love and marriage. That is such a blessing, I'm sure.
Your dress this week is so pretty! I love it.
